GENERAL BASKETBALL CAREER NOTES: Represented NSW Metro U18 2003 and NSW U20 2004/05 at Australian Junior Championships. Also attended the Australian Junior Camp 2003 and 2004 and became a member of the Gems squad (Australian Junior Women) 2003/04/05. In June 2004, she toured Europe with the Gems team. She currently plays for Hills Hornets in Waratah ABA competition. Rachel won a Gold Medal with the 2007 U/21 Australian Sapphires World Championship team
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Rachel has a brother Scott and sister Alison. Rachel loves sunfruits. Rachel was asked to leave her school choir because she was tone-deaf. She attaended Westfield Sports High School in Sydney, a world renowned nursery for many of Australia's international sports stars. Later went on to spend three years in the world's #1 ranked elite junior women's basketball scheme at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, under Coach Phil Brown.
