Milu is one of the brightest young stars of Hungarian women's volleyball, even though she only started playing the sport in 1993. She has become the top hitting talent in her country and is already a member of the national team, having earned her first senior national cap in 2004, when she was just 20 years old.
She is a fearsome hitter and, under the tutelage of her club and national coach, Zsolt Ludvig, Milu is going from strength to strength. Still young, nonetheless she is the key cog in the machinery of Hungary's most ambitious club, NEK Nyiregyhaza. She has been a member of this professional outfit since 1999, her junior international days. Milu is now casting her eyes further - she is ambitious to test herself in one of Europe's top professional leagues. All the signs are that she will be a huge success, wherever she decides to go. Milu is ready! She will spend the current season playing for Hungarian champions BSE Budapest.
She was born in the provincial city of Tatabanya and took up volleyball in 1993. By December 1997 she was scouted and signed by Vertes Volan SE, her local senior club,, which won the Second Division championship just six months later, opening up the opportunity for Milu of playing in the pro league from September 1998. The following year her international career commenced with the Hungarian Junior national team and it was at one of the tournaments of this squad when she was spotted by Nyíregyháza coach Zsolt Ludvig, who also doubles as the national coach, joining Hungary's most internationally active pro club in September 2000. Since then she was a regular in CEV and Central European League action. For the 2006-2007 season Milu was the subject of the most active recruitment campaign in Hungarian volleyball, fielding offers from Nyiregyhaza, Vasas and champions BSE, eventually choosing the latter for a one year contract ending May 2007. For the past two seasons Vasas SC finally snared the most prized signature in the Hungarian Pro League. The result, two Hungarian Cup and one Hungarian League gold medals.
Milu is a charter member of the Hungarian national team and has been so since the juniors, palying for the seniors since 2004.
